Christy Lynn was born to be an artist! Some of the unique attributes about her art are that she likes to paint large-scale images of smaller elements of nature, like feathers and flowers. Christy Lynn was born to be an artist! From a young age, she became interested in drawing, beginning with graphite, colored pencils and colored pens at 12 years of age. She learned that her artistic talent was in painting after discovering oils and acrylic paints in high school art class. When she became a student at the Art Institute of Colorado in 2008, she started painting again, learning the fundamentals of design. Those skills are what she uses in her art pieces. Christy Lynn, as an interior designer and artist, is very fortunate to be working and living her true passion.

Her world travels while serving in the Army have given her a deeper perspective as an artist to paint pieces with strong, detailed elements, making the art speak for itself. Some of the unique attributes about her art are that she likes to paint large-scale images of smaller elements of nature, like feathers and flowers. Christy Lynn likes to capture movement and personality in her “spirit animals” as they tell their own story. Her art pieces are cheerful, bringing good energy to any space in a room.

As an artist, Christy Lynn continues to develop her skill and gain inspiration from other artists, especially her mentor, Farrell Cockrum. His influence has taught her to paint loosely and open-mindedly, letting the painting tell its own story.

Her mission as an artist is to share her inner beauty with you.
